"I have been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. As time went on, I got married, had kids, was working full time, and wasn’t playing as much anymore. I had lost the passion to play. Joey Alarcon reignited that passion in me and as a result, I regained my confidence in my abilities and am playing again. I am a big fan of Joey’s bands but I’m more of a fan of the man Joey is. He is a fantastic teacher, a phenomenal guitarist and he has become a terrific friend. He challenges me to be a better player by getting me out of my comfort zone. I’m playing things I would have never dreamt I could play. He is patient, thorough, and honestly just fun to work with and be around.
